Lifeline Connections is a private non-profit corporation
that has been serving the Southwest Washington/Portland,
Oregon communities since 1962.
Today, Lifeline Connections provides a broad range
of treatment services including non-medical detoxification
(16 bed facility), chemical dependency intensive inpatient
treatment (60 bed facility), chemical dependency intensive
inpatient treatment for addicted deaf consumers (16
bed facility), intensive outpatient chemical dependency
for adults and adolescents, specialty programs of care
for pregnant and parenting women, intervention and
prevention for adults and adolescents, mental health
treatment, integrated treatment for substance abuse
and mental disorders, medication management, case management
and urinalysis testing.
Our professional staff includes Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioners, Registered nurses, Licensed Practical
Nurses, Masters level social workers, Chemical Dependency
Professionals and board certified psychiatrist. We
have counselors who are bilingual in Spanish and fluent
with American Sign Language.
We are licensed by Washington State Department of
Social and Health Services (DSHS) Division of Alcohol
and Substance Abuse, DSHS Mental Health Division and
Washington State Department of Health.
We are preferred providers for many health plans and
also contract with Clark County Regional Support Network,
Clark County Department of Community Services, Washington
State Division of alcohol and Substance Abuse and Washington
State Juvenile Justice System to provide a broad range
of residential and outpatient chemical dependency and
mental health treatment services.
Our facility is located in the new state-of-the-art
Center for Community Health at 1601 East Fourth Plain
Boulevard, Building 17, Vancouver, Washington 98661. We
are the first community health center in the United
States that is a partnership between federal and county
governments and non-profits all co-located and providing
psychiatric evaluation and treatment, detoxification,
inpatient chemical dependency treatment, outpatient
mental health and substance abuse treatment and public
health in a single location.
We offer one of only a few non-hospital based intensive
inpatient treatment services in the Portland Metropolitan
area and the only intensive inpatient treatment service
for deaf addicted consumers in the Western United States.
Our programs of care are well respected throughout
the region and our service rates are very competitive. We
are preferred providers with many health plans. We
are also Medicaid certified and we accept private pay
patients and offer sliding scale plans.
